The Women's Health Checkup is a 118-test package specifically designed to address the health concerns most relevant to women. Beyond the standard organ panels, it includes tumour markers (CA-125 for ovarian cancer risk and CEA for general cancer screening), reproductive hormones (FSH, LH, Prolactin, Estradiol), Arthritis markers and Cardiac Risk panels.
CA-125 is the most widely used marker for ovarian cancer screening, though it can also be elevated in endometriosis, fibroids and pelvic inflammatory disease. FSH and LH levels help assess ovarian function, diagnose PCOS and evaluate menopausal status. Prolactin screening is important for women with irregular periods, galactorrhoea or fertility issues, while Estradiol provides insight into bone health and cardiovascular protection in post-menopausal women.
The inclusion of Arthritis markers (RA Factor, Anti-CCP) is especially relevant because autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis are 2-3 times more common in women than men. The Cardiac Risk panel addresses the often-overlooked fact that heart disease is the leading cause of death in Indian women — yet it is frequently under-screened. This package ensures that women get screening tailored to their unique physiology.
