Warnings & Precautions
Use only in men with confirmed hypogonadism; not for use in women, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Contraindicated in known/suspected prostate or male breast cancer; assess prostate (PSA/DRE) before and during therapy. Monitor hematocrit/hemoglobin (risk of polycythemia/thrombosis), liver function if clinically indicated, lipids and blood pressure; caution in cardiovascular disease, heart failure, kidney disease (fluid retention), sleep apnea and elderly.
